As a waterbred mortal having lived a more sheltered life, Kaleolani navigates the star with a childlike fascination that is both endearing and amusing. One of Kaleolani's defining traits is his naivety, stemming from his unfamiliarity. Yet as he continues to explore the land, his knowledge quickly grows.Kaleolani exudes a certain ethereal grace and charm that leaves many in awe. A brush of their influence can have quite the effect on a mortal. Do not be fooled by their sweet disarming smile however. Being found on their bad side or within their selfish desires can land one in the clutches of a mighty firm grasp unwilling to let go until they leave their opponent drained.
headcanon one. MEDICALLY speaking, Kaleolani is diagnosed with DID (dissociative identity disorder), but there is something strange and different from that of other cases.
headcanon two. -SLIMEY Scales produce mucus to protect their body when in the water from parasites. Although gross to touch when in their waterbred form, they can wash their body with soap and water in their human form to be rid of the mucus.
abilities. Influence. This takes many forms, but this power is meant to influence others to do or feel something. They charm their victims and it can be as subtle as having someone fawn or dote on them or as powerful as them having complete control. The later can have lasting effects if pushed too far. (Those blessed with the echo seem to have some heavy immunity to this.)

Blessing of the Kojin A ritual taught, but unaware how he came to learn of it. His iteration of this blessing is temporary and given with a kiss, making any who recieve it able to breath and speak underwater.
background. Kaleolani is an eastern prince to an underwater kingdom, but was kidnapped as a child by Garlean soldiers. He was experimented upon alongside many others as his subrace was already quite unique with notable traits being that of soft white scales and fins. Day after day, he was subjected to trials and tests, brought to the breaking point in which he had been torn apart mentally and found 'others' to help him cope.
